Terms of Use

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This text is a draft: the highlighted fields must be filled in with company details before publication.

These Terms of Use govern the use of the DetaApart mobile app and website (together, the “Service”) provided by [PLACEHOLDER: Company legal name] (“DetaApart”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.

1. The Service

DetaApart is a record-keeping and reporting tool that lets landlords and building managers track buildings, flats, commercial units, tenants, rental agreements, rent and bills, expenses, recurring payments and maintenance in a mobile app. The Service does not replace official accounting records or legal documents.

2. Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must give accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secret and not sharing your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Accounts created in the app may go through an approval step before they can be used.

3. Trial and subscription

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No payment details are required for the trial and you are not charged automatically when it ends.

When the trial ends, access to the app stops unless a subscription is started; your data stay stored until you delete your account. To start a subscription, contact us; the price and terms are shown to you clearly before purchase.

If subscriptions are later offered through the App Store or Google Play, payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow that store's terms. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

4. Data you enter

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having a legal basis to process them. You are the data controller for your tenants' and other third parties' data and must inform them as required by KVKK. We recommend backing up your data regularly with the app's export features (PDF, CSV, Excel).

How personal data are processed is explained in the Privacy Policy and the KVKK Privacy Notice.

5. Prohibited use

  • Using the Service for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes others' rights
  • Attempting unauthorized access to the Service, its servers or other users' data
  • Disrupting the Service with automated requests, malware or excessive load
  • Copying, reverse engineering or reselling the app

6. Intellectual property

The rights in the Service's software, design, logo and content belong to us. You receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service under these terms. The rights in the data you enter remain yours.

7. Availability and changes

We make reasonable efforts to provide the Service without interruption or errors, but maintenance, updates or third-party infrastructure may cause interruptions. We may improve or change the Service's features and will announce important changes in advance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of records in the Service, for incorrect data entry, or for problems caused by the user's device or internet connection. This limitation does not apply to intent or gross negligence, or where it would conflict with mandatory consumer rights.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account in case of serious or repeated breach of these terms. You can delete your account at any time; the steps and retention periods are described on the Account deletion page.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers may apply to the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts of their place of residence under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502. For disputes with non-consumer users, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is published on this page and the date at the top is changed. Important changes are announced in the app or by email.
